Dr. Lyn Crowell worked in the Texas public school system after graduating with a Bachelors of Science in secondary mathematics. She spent 22 years in the classroom teaching 7th grade mathematics to Algebra II. Her last 8 years were working as a district level instructional coach for grades 6th through 12. During her word as an instructional coach, Dr. Crowell earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Instructional Leadership and a PhD in School Improvement. She earned both of these degrees from Texas State University. During her studies at Texas State, Dr. Crowell presented her research at national and international conferences and was named the Blomberg Scholar from the Council of Professors of Instructional Supervision (COPIS) for her research on instructional coaching. Dr. Crowell stated with GF Educator, Inc. as a writer before taking the position of Director of Mathematics.
