CAMT Policies
Health and Safety
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation in Harris County and surrounding counties and will communicate any changes in entry requirements as we approach the event date.
CAMT is committed to holding a successful in-person meeting this July at the George R. Brown Convention Center and Hilton Americas Hotel Following city and state recommendations CAMT will NOT require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test to enter the conference.
Cancellation/Transfer
No cancellations for CAMT 2024 will be accepted. In person registration may be transferred to another person from the district/organization prior to July 10, 2024 by contacting the CAMT office in writing at office@camtonline.org. All attendees must consent to follow CAMT's health and safety protocols at all times. If an attendee violates these protocols, they will forfeit their conference registration without refund. CAMT will not reimburse travel expenses for any reason.
Code of Conduct
In Person
Anyone attending CAMT events will be provided with a positive, harassment-free learning experience, regardless of age, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, religion, nationality, personal appearance or race. All attendees have the right to a safe and welcoming environment.
Harassment includes offensive verbal or written comments or negative behavior, in either in-person or virtual spaces. Harassment also includes the display of sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, and unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention.
Participants asked to stop any harassing or unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately. CAMT may take any action we deem appropriate, including warning the offender or ejecting the offender from the event and/or future events without refund.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a CAMT board or staff member immediately. Anyone experiencing or witnessing behavior that constitutes an immediate or serious threat to public safety is advised to contact 911.
Online/Virtual
We encourage you to use CAMT’s virtual platform to form safe and positive relationships with vendor partners and peers in education. During virtual events, CAMT does not permit an individual under the age of 18 to participate as an attendee or be displayed on camera during any portion of the event for any reason.
All resources provided during this event are the property of the presenter, company, or individual and CAMT with all rights reserved. This virtual platform is to be used by the registered individual. It is not permitted to broadcast, record, refurbish, or reuse the virtual content by any participant for any purpose.
Attendees and presenters must abide by all child and student data protection policies as it relates to Tarrant County, City of Fort Worth State of Texas, and the United States of America.
