James is the Secondary Mathematics Coordinator and has been with the Texas Education Agency since 2012 having worked with Student Assessment but mostly with Curriculum Standards and Student Support providing support for teachers, counselors, parents, and even administrators. Before that he worked with a high-needs high school in the Austin area. He has also taught collegiate courses ranging from Mathematics Elementary School Preservice Teachers to Calculus II.
