Frances began her teaching career in Edgewood ISD and retired in 2024 from Northside ISD—San Antonio’s largest school district—after serving 11 years as the district’s high school math curriculum director. With over 17 years of experience as an independent consultant, she partners with districts to deliver high-quality professional learning that supports teacher growth in mathematics instruction, student engagement strategies, or other areas of need identified by campus administration. She also designs and leads student camps that focus on closing learning gaps and offering enrichment through real-world, STEM-related activities. Since 2018, Frances has served as a T³ Regional Instructor, guiding educators in effectively integrating TI technology to enhance math learning. Across all her roles, Frances remains committed to empowering teachers and students to build a deep, meaningful understanding of mathematics.
