Marco A. Gonzalez is currently the Texas Instruments’ Educational Technology Consultant for Louisiana, Oklahoma and half of Texas covering Regions 1-3, 5-9, 13-14, 16-17, & 20. Before this role, Marco served as a Systemic Programs Supervisor for Texas Instruments where he worked to ensure the delivery of world class professional development and in classroom coaching throughout the districts that have subscribed to this program.

Prior to being employed by Texas Instruments, Marco taught secondary mathematics at Rivera High School in Brownsville, Texas for 15 years. Marco also served one year as a K-12 Mathematics Specialist for Brownsville ISD

Marco has a Bachelor’s of Science (1995) in Secondary Mathematics and a Master’s of Education, Educational Technology (2009) both from the University of Texas at Brownsville.

Marco has been married for 31 years to his amazing wife, Bertha, and has three children, Vanessa (26 yrs old), Viviana (23 yrs old) and Marco Jr (16 yrs old).
