Avra Merritt is a dedicated Math Interventionist with Katy ISD, currently supporting 6th grade Math Lab students through targeted, data-driven instruction. With over 10 years of experience in education, she has spent the last five years specializing in working with RTI-targeted students, helping close learning gaps and accelerate student achievement.

Avra is passionate about using data not just to inform instruction, but to empower students to take ownership of their learning. Her approach focuses on building student buy-in, confidence, and measurable growth. Through her work, she has consistently helped over 70% of her students achieve significant academic gains, often demonstrating 1–3 years of growth within a single school year.
