Heather Gower is a Instructional Specialist in Katy Independent School District in Texas. Heather has worked in the Elementary C&I Department for the last four years. Heather is a former teacher and instructional coach. She taught for 12 years in 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade and was an instructional coach for five years. She supports the implementation of district math initiatives by providing ongoing professional development and modeling opportunities for math teachers. She is excited to chair the 2027 Program Committee in Houston.
