Join us for an empowering session that highlights the transformative impact of learning communities within the Black Womxn in Mathematics Education (BWXME) network. This session will explore how BWXME's learning communities empower math educators to become change agents in their communities, challenging systemic oppression and fostering a sense of belonging and joy in mathematical spaces.
Participants will be inspired to join one of BWXME's learning community spaces, where you can engage in conversations on integrating technology and AI tools to personalize learning and explore student engagement strategies to create inclusive environments. Presenters will also highlight BWXME's work in supporting educators' scholarship, encouraging research, and participation in professional development opportunities. Whether you're an experienced educator or new to the field, this session offers a supportive space to explore the profound impact of empowering math educators and transforming education for all.
