Description

In this workshop, participants will work with the TI-Nspire (no experience necessary) and a Calculator Based Rangefinder (CBR2) to collect and analyze data by simply rolling a ball down a ramp. We will explore applications that range from Algebra 1 through Calculus by breaking down the data gathered by the CBR2 and a ping pong ball; think of linear and quadratic regression models as well as area under a curve.
