Description
In this session we will deconstruct a painting by Brazilian artist Geraldo de Barros and reconstruct six geometric patterns. We'll do a hands on activity where we build the art piece from squares that are related to each other by square root of two, analyze the black and white areas and make connections to infinite sums. Teachers will take a kit back with in their classroom.
