Description
In this session, designed for 3rd-5th grade teachers, participants will explore lesson ideas, class openers and warm-up routines, and exploratory spaces that will engage students in thinking deeply about fractions. Participants will leave the session with the skills and knowledge to use these activities with their students, as well as the ability to immediately author their own activities using virtual manipulatives. The session will use the free virtual manipulatives and tools available on Polypad from Desmos Classroom.
