Let’s explore children’s literature bringing together mathematics and literacy to engage learners in the wonder, joy, and beauty of both! Through the connection students and teachers are empowered learning together. Through this approach we develop a deeper understanding of math, provide opportunities for discussion and assessment, develop literacy processes, and expand the purpose of learning both mathematics and English language arts. Examples of literature and activities will be shared and time to exchange ideas will be provided.
