This session invites educators to shift from deficit thinking to an asset-based approach, providing a fresh perspective on student capabilities and guiding effective instructional strategies. Participants will examine the limitations of deficit thinking and explore the benefits of an asset-based perspective by analyzing student work. In the end, participants will be able to answer the age-old question, “Where do we go from here?”
