This session will focus on parts of the curriculum that teachers have consistently expressed as difficult to teach. Come prepared to learn and play a variety of math games and easy to implement strategies that promote effective estimations, practice deciphering word problems and integrate frequent use of graphs and tables. A handout with games, supports and assessment tools will be provided. Best of all, the games and strategies can be used immediately back in your classroom with just simple cards and regular dice.
