To master multiplication facts and operations students need engaging, meaningful practice activities and card and dice games provide this context.  Come prepared to our favorite games for practicing basic multiplication.  Effective strategies will include the following:  commutative property, associative property, square facts, arrays, patterns and skip counting.  Games are easy to differentiate and can be used whole class, small group or in centers.  Handout will contain gameboards, concept skill checklists for assessment.
