Come prepared to play games that incorporate the use of easily found playing cards, and you don't even need a full deck to play!  The games can be used in your classrooms either whole class or in small groups, and they will also help you plan and facilitate a FAMILY MATH GAMES NIGHT.   Participants will receive planning tools, theme ideas, sample ads to help with organizing a math game night.  Participants will play and learn our favorite card games - 15 - 20 total + variations,  that help your families practice the following concepts:   all operations, place value, and multi-digit operations.  Handout will contain sample games, and support to get you using cards in your math classroom, and supporting student practice at home.
