Math noodling, math journals and math talk are all easily integrated with a math games component in your primary classroom.  In this workshop participants will learn how to set up math game journals for the start of their year, teach students math noodling/visual notetaking skills and use concept skill checklists for assessment.  We will be playing my favorite math games and practicing visual notetaking, building a journal, and looking at student samples to practice assessment.  Handout will contain journal masters, visual notetaking templates, concept skill checklists and a few of my favorite games to get you started right away in your new school year. BRING FELT PENS, SCISSORS, PAPER  AND BE READY TO PLAY!  If you are attending any of our Box Cars sessions, this would be a great foundational session to attend.
