When we think of reading and writing, we think of English/Language Arts and Reading classes. However, it can be argued that we engage with math literacy more than our traditional notion of literacy. In this session participants will explore quantitative literacy and engage in pedagogical tasks that equip students with the skills they need to navigate our math-heavy world.
