What is the best way to do things? Mathematics can be used to answer that question! Whether it is the best package design, the best job to accept or the most efficient way to do something, optimization permeates all aspects of our lives. We will examine examples from middle school through AP Calculus that will allow teachers to answer the question of "when will we ever use this?"
